The 2019 Rav4 features three distinct drive modes to match the situation at hand. Sport Mode prioritizes optimal acceleration, while ECO Mode increases fuel efficiency. Normal Mode strikes just the right balance between efficiency and performance, resulting in a well-rounded driving experience.

With a multi-link rear suspension, the 2019 Rav4 offers a smooth and comfortable ride in any driving situation. The suspension improves handling and control, while also ensuring steady traction. With available Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD paired with Rear Driveline Disconnect, the vehicle automatically distributes power to the appropriate wheels, resulting in better responsiveness and more stability in a variety of driving conditions.
On all AWD drive models, the 2019 Rav4 is equipped with standard Multi-terrain Select. Choose between ROCK and DIRT, MUD and SAND, SNOW and NORMAL options to optimize performance for different driving conditions. Plus, with plenty of ground clearance and height, the vehicle is great for off-roading.
Standard 2019 RAV4 models are also able to tow up to 1500 pounds when properly equipped.* For additional towing capability, the 2019 RAV4 Hybrid can tow up to 1750 pounds when properly equipped.* The Adventure takes towing even further with up to 3500 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped, helping you transport heavy duty cargo.*
