New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Every new Toyota gets a New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which is essentially four warranties in one: the Basic Warranty, Powertrain Warranty, Restraint Systems Warranty, and Corrosion Perforation Warranty.

·    Basic Warranty (36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first) covers any repairs or replacements for most vehicle parts supplied by Toyota.

·    Powertrain Warranty (60 months or 60,000 miles) covers repairs for powertrain components, such as the engine, transmission, and drive shaft.

·    Restraint Systems Warranty (60 months or 60,000 miles) covers repairs for airbags and seat belt systems supplied by Toyota.

·    Corrosion Perforation Warranty (60 months with no mileage limit) covers repairs for original vehicle body panels that develop holes because of corrosion due to defects.

Used Toyota Warranty

When you buy a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle, it comes with two additional warranties:

·    Limited Warranty (12 months or 12,000 miles) covers any repairs or replacements for all vehicle parts supplied by Toyota.

·    Limited Powertrain Warranty (7 years or 100,000 miles) covers major engine and transmission components as well as all internally lubricated parts.

Warranty exceptions

All of these warranties cover repairs only for defects in materials or workmanship of parts supplied by Toyota while under normal use. If the parts are not supplied by Toyota or not installed at a Toyota factory, they are not covered by warranty.
