2019 Tacoma VS Tundra

2019 Toyota Tacoma

Performance, dependability, safety - all pickup drivers look for these qualities, and all Toyota pickup trucks have these qualities in truckloads. Whether you're a craftsman who depends on your vehicle for work, a bold and adventurous weekend warrior, or a parent with daily hauling needs, Toyota has you covered.

The 2019 Toyota Tacoma and 2019 Toyota Tundra offer an exceptional experience that blends form and function to make all aspects of travelling easier. And while both of these pickups are among the most capable on the road today, understanding some of their key differences will help you decide which is right for your needs.

Design

One of the biggest differences between the 2019 Tacoma and the 2019 Tundra is size. As a midsize pickup, the 2019 Tacoma offers a bit less cargo room and power while achieving exceptional handling, maneuverability, off-road capability, and fuel efficiency. The 2019 Tundra is a full-size pickup, which makes it a perfect fit for drivers who need even more powerful performance and carrying/towing potential.

Performance

The 2019 Toyota Tacoma offers two potent engine options. The standard 2.7-liter four-cylinder offers 159 horsepower and excellent fuel economy, while the beefier 3.5-liter V6 generates 278 horsepower and offers greater towing capacity.

The 2019 Toyota Tundra comes with two engine options. Standard is a 4.6-liter V8 engine which puts out 310 horsepower, and the available 5.7-liter V8 engine is capable of an impressive 381 horsepower that makes easy work of even the toughest jobs.

Safety

Both the 2019 Tacoma and the 2019 Tundra come with an array of standard driver assistive safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, forward collision warning with front automated emergency braking, and lane-departure warning. Because of this, no matter which of these pickups you decide is right for you, you can drive with total confidence.

Whether you choose the Tundra or the Tacoma, Fox Toyota has both in stock and would be glad to offer test drives of both trucks to help you decide.
